St. Anthony's Men's Club was organized on October 18, 1978. Pastor Rev. Severiano Fernandez realized that the parish growth have doubled in size in the past few years, and would continue to grow for years to come. The growing parish required more volunteers. The parish hall and grounds would need the attention of many more volunteers to keep up with the necessary maintenance and improvements. Festival preparation and other activities would require the assistance of more organized parishioners. . With this in mind, a men's club was formed. The first officers were elected in October 1978. With some guidance from San Jose's men's club, they set out to establish bylaws and write the constitution. These were adopted on January 1, 1979, and the vision of Reverend Fernandez was realized. Since it's inception, the Mens Club has sponsored many fundraisers including dances, Turkey bingo's, annual New Year's Eve dinner dance, and fish fries during the Lenten season. The men's clubs fundraising events have led to many improvements on the parish grounds. Have led to many improvements on the parish grounds.
